Fortunately, they'll have each other. In my case I need to get one more cat. We had two up until June of last year when one unexpectedly died of a hereditary heart condition. In December a buddy needed to get rid of their cat due to allergies. New cat!The new cat wants to constantly pounce on the remaining old cat. Old Cat now spends most of his time outside. Old Cat used to sit in my 91 year old mother's lap all the time, but New Cat won't sit in laps at all. Result? Zero cats in mom's lap.

Haha, exactly! Funny thing is this video was taken when Gary was a few months old, now he's almost 2 and he still does it. Brody just tolerates him. She's more the older sister that tries to act annoyed and more mature with him, but we know she's really not.I feel bad when we have kids someday and these two will have to compete with attention.

Brody displays the typical patience of an older pet trying to tolerate the indiscretions of a newbie. Gary, naturally, is completely clueless.
